Susan and Nancy are two sisters who have a deep passion for wellness, focusing on yoga and Pilates.
Their journey into these practices began years ago, with each sister discovering the transformative benefits of physical and mental well-being that yoga and Pilates offer. Over time, they became not just practitioners but advocates for these disciplines, aiming to share their love for them with others. Their bond as sisters has made their shared mission even more powerful, as they support each other in their personal and professional growth. Together, they teach and inspire people of all ages and fitness levels, emphasizing mindfulness, strength, flexibility, and balance through yoga and Pilates. Their teaching style blends the best of both practices, offering a holistic approach to fitness and well-being. They are driven by the belief that anyone can benefit from these practices, regardless of where they are on their wellness journey.
Susan Hauser
Empowering Through Yoga
Susan Hauser is a transformative leader in the wellness community, known for her passion for movement, authenticity, and connection. A former collegiate swimmer at the University of Miami, Susan discovered yoga over twenty years ago—but it was the sudden passing of her husband from cancer that brought the practice into sharp focus. With two young boys to raise and a life to rebuild, yoga became more than exercise, it became her therapy. The mat offered her clarity, presence, and healing. It helped her move forward, both mentally and emotionally, in a way no other physical activity had before.
Driven by this life-changing experience, Susan began teaching yoga six years later, fueled by a desire to share the transformation she found through the practice. In 2015, she founded NOW Power Yoga, creating a space for community, empowerment, and growth. The studio quickly became a local favorite, recognized year after year as “Best Studio in Marin,” and featured in numerous community publications for its innovative and inclusive approach.
A former ambassador for both Lululemon and Athleta, Susan is known for her dynamic teaching style and commitment to cultivating a welcoming environment. Her classes are empowering, heart-opening, and deeply rooted in the belief that movement can heal and transform.
Today, Susan continues to inspire others on their own paths of self-discovery—reminding us that the true essence of yoga lies in the journey of the heart and soul. She is beyond excited to bring NOW’s high-energy classes and vibrant community to 30A.
